On the calendar, today is Father’s Day. But not at all a “Happy Father’s Day” for so many people…
Absent dads, imprisoned dads, sadly some deceased dads and yes, even some deadbeat dads…
By God‘s amazing grace, birth fathers, adoptive fathers, stepdads and yes, unofficial male mentorship for the fatherless
Some very incredible role models, big brother stand-ins, uncles, god fathers, coaches and yes, godly men…some even cops 🥰
Tenderhearted, compassionate, attentive, providers, and great advice givers… And yes, good ATM dispensers too… Lol
BUT no one can come close to the DAD of all DADS! Abba Father! The ONE who loves us, chose us, and adopted us. The One who still has room in His heart for more children, unlimited resources and a mansion to house all who with childlike faith, choose to believe!
Please do not hold God of heaven accountable for what your earthly dad did or didn’t do. And please do not ignore or belittle His love because your earthly dad gets the “Best Dad Ever” T-shirt. Unlike man, God cannot lie, fail or disappoint!
