All the preparations and planning involved in our goodbyes…all the love and hugs and tears…even some dread…
Clinging tightly and not wanting to separate…already unconsciously beginning to replay those precious memories…
The last minute photos and tenderhearted physical embraces making it all the more difficult…
This is us…human beings, when we are departing from family members we love or people through whom we’ve come to know and have grown to love…
This is us…pause…now imagine…although impossible…how God felt when He gave us His One and only Son…
There is absolutely no way at all to humanly grasp that…to envision their goodbye…
However, there’s a layer of peace knowing that the God of heaven understands our earthly “hard to say” goodbye’s…
Only He can truly console our hearts in the most difficult goodbyes until we see him/her, them again…
And speaking of seeing them again…how sure are you?
Whosoever believes in Me, though he die, he shall live…is what’s promised to those who #believe that Jesus is Lord…
*Was just thinking about the B family and how they are preparing to leave their oldest offspring and return home.
