In These Moments

I want nothing else

I want no pleasures in life

I want no treasures piled high

I want no foreign delicacies

I want no vacations by the sea

I want no desire to lose weight

I want no fashionable wardrobe

I want no human contact

I want no favorite hymns

I want no memory verses

I want no answers to prayer

In these moments

Wrapped in the peace of God

Having complete peace with God

Knowing my salvation is sure

Not by works am I secure

Knowing He took my place

One day seeing His face

In these moments

I want one simple thing

More and more of Him
