Yes…He came…
We were not looking for Him
To be honest we were not expecting Him
He came…
We had no idea we desperately needed Him
No clue whatsoever the depravity of our sin
We were fine on our own…or so we thought
We pretty much had it all figured out…which is laughable
We made a few mistakes…but we were advancing
And He came…
We strayed a little…changed the laws and made up some rules for our lifestyles
We apologized, occasionally, some with sincerity
Yes He came…
There were times when we messed up…big time
There were gross errors…irreversible consequences
He came…
It became frightening, all consuming and evil
Self preservation, greed, pride, rebellion and death
He came…
The lights went out, utter darkness, just as He had warned
A massive global flood…with only eight survivors
He came…
What was our response?
We repeated everything and learned absolutely nothing…
He came…
Over 2000 years ago, and where are we today…
If you are blind you may not know the answer…
If you have sight, you may have an idea…
He came…
The god of this age has blinded many, with or without sight…
We absolutely needed a Savior…it was the only way of escape
I am still often in my flesh in disbelief, and still with no human words to express
God said He would come and I am beyond grateful that He came
