If You were to send them across the globe, I would be over the top thrilled. If You were to use their spiritual gifts for a global impact, I would be doing cartwheels inside my heart. If You were to use them around the corner for the lost and broken-hearted, I would be smiling from here to China. If You were to transform them into young intercessors with a relentless pursuit to storm the throne room, I would faithfully plead with them! If You were to be their soul heart’s desire and the fruit of that choice was crystal clear, I would weep and rejoice with tambourine praises.
And with all these “selfless” petitions, Your Word is crystal clear that absolutely nothing is impossible for You. A thousand years is like a day to You and vice versa. Your unchanging plans are in motion, unstoppable and indeed good. And not at all based on our human condition or weak flesh, but based on Your Divine Sovereignty. Yes, in the unseen, the Spirit of the Lord is at work!
But, in this hour of desperation, please hear me as I ask, with humility, hear my plea. As I approach You with urgency and tears, that You would take our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren under Your protective wings. Making it crystal clear to the adversary that You are God and that they all belong to You! That when the God of heaven starts something, He brings it to full completion. Even the middle and difficult parts. Yes the Alpha and the Omega handles the middle too.
In this truth my soul finds its resting place. In Your plans I do trust. However You choose to use them, by faith, I will remember Your promises and Your crystal clear history of steadfast faithfulness.
