When we reject His Son.
When we grieve the Holy Spirit.
When we want a relationship with someone else more than we want a relationship with Him.
When we do not instruct our children in the way they should go.
When the husband does not love his wife as Christ loves the church.
When we do not see our need for repentance.
When we have no time to read the Bible.
When we hear the gospel and do not make a decision.
When we refuse to forgive as we have been forgiven.
When we do not pray for our enemy.
When we do not protect the vulnerable.
When we neglect the powerful gift of prayer.
When we do these things, the God of heaven weeps.
